This rug was adapted from a Navajo Blanket, ca. 1890-1900 from the collections of the Museum of Indian Arts & Culture. Shaw reinterpreted the original in lustrous olefin yarn that enhances the dimensional qualities of the design and creates a buttery-soft feel.
